Silvia Schmelzer is our newest artist addition. I love the shape and the stamping designs in her work. Silvia uses small dichroic cabs in all the pieces shown.

Silvia was selected among 65 artists from 700 entries to participate in the biennial show at the Leslie Powell Gallery in Oklahoma? And also in Tubac, Arizona?

The dichroic cabochon is bezel set in sterling silver. This pendant is 1-1/2x1-5/8" "Sun Flower" Phyllis made this piece for me. It is spectacular on the braided rope cord.

Gorgeous brooch using a very light weight jewelcraze cab.	What a ingenious design with the cab suspending from tourmaline crystal.
from my collection. Kate used gold wires and tubing to make this beautiful necklace for me. I have named it "Lake fire".	Another unique design with the moonstone drop. What a creative way to showcase this butterfly cab.
The picture is upside down. It is similar in construction as "lake fire" above but with sterling silver.

One of my dear customers commissioned Kate Layzell to bezel set some of my cabochons into beautiful dichroic jewelry. Kate Layzell is a professional metal smith / jeweler from Staffordshire/UK who splits her time between traditional work with gemstones and the more funky crafts like these.

The three on the top row are new creations from Kate. I love the two pendants made with the "nature theme" cabochons.
